This notice covers the copinion.ai website and the launch waitlist. Your conversations in the Copin app are covered by a separate policy, published with the app.

Who we are

Copin is operated by Copinion Limited. We’re responsible for the personal information described in this notice.

Contact us at hello@copinion.aiwith privacy questions or to request access, correction or deletion of your information. A member of our team reads and responds to these requests.

What we collect, and why

Your email address, so we can tell you when Copin launches and send your invite. That’s the only thing the form asks for — no name, no age, nothing about you.

How you got here — the campaign tags in the link you clicked, the site you came from, the page you landed on, and the country you were in when you signed up. We use these to know which posts and communities actually bring people here. They’re kept with your email so we can count signups by channel; they say where you came from, not who you are. We rely on our legitimate interest in understanding how people find us.

Your IP address, briefly, when you submit the form. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks you’re a person rather than a script. Your IP address and browser details go to Cloudflare for that check. We don’t store your IP address itself — the country above is the only thing kept from it.

Cookies and similar technologies. This website may use cookies and browser storage. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie, such as __cf_bm, to help protect the site and its waitlist form from automated abuse. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate site use, such as page views and referrers. Cloudflare says its Web Analytics service does not use cookies, local storage or fingerprinting to identify visitors. If we add another analytics provider, we’ll update this notice and provide any required choices before enabling it. We do not use analytics to sell your information or build advertising profiles.

Session storage. While you’re on the page, your browser remembers the campaign tags from your first visit. It’s cleared when you close the tab. This is browser storage rather than a cookie, and it is used to preserve first-touch attribution for a waitlist submission.

Who else handles it

Loops.so stores the mailing list and sends our emails.Cloudflare provides hosting, bot protection and website analytics. Google Cloud stores waitlist and email-lifecycle event data in BigQuery for our internal reporting. These providers may process information in countries other than yours. We use contractual and organisational safeguards designed to protect that information. Loops uses its own sub-processors, listed atloops.so/subprocessors.

We don’t sell your information or share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Until launch, and for 12 months after, so we can send your invite and follow up if you don’t use it. If you unsubscribe we take you off the list and keep only a note that you asked not to be emailed, so we don’t add you again by mistake.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email.

You can also contact us athello@copinion.ai to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. If you have a concern about how we handle your information, please contact us first; you may also be entitled to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Children

Copin is for adults. This site isn’t directed at under-18s and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has joined the waitlist, email us and we’ll delete the record.

Changes

If we change this notice we’ll update the date above, and if the change is significant we’ll email people on the list.
